My theory of the world

There have been two theories about the world we live in and how do things happen as they do.

First, some people believe that everything, everything single things that happens in our lives, every little thing, what we do, what we eat for breakfast, what we do at all etc are all governed by a certain force, some people call it fate, some call it the pre-destined and unavoidable truth. This theory basically states that every little thing that happens in our lives are all designed, scripted, whatever you want to call it. And choices, the so-called choices, decisions in our lives are also pre-destined, although we choose, we are actually still choosing what we were meant to be.

The second theory, is that everything in life, everything that happens on this world, the eather, who a person gets with etc. is all merely a series of events, a chain of accidents that simply happen that way, with no reason, no principle nor pattern and no explanation. things just happened, just happened as it is. Each of these accidents have a certain link to another, the former impacts the latter and the latter result of the former.

I used to believe in this thing called fate, I believed that the Creator designed everything in this world is pre-destined, that God made things happen as he sees fit, God making things happen the way he thinks it should be. Not any more though. Because so many things that happened in my life, so many things that sucked in my life, so many things that made no sense at all, that I no longer believe in God, nor his doings. I believe that everything in this world is just part of all the accidents, that set off a chain reaction, one after another.

Please feel free to comment on this post, I'd love to know your views. :)

Brief update

Hi friends, long time no post, since a lot has passed, i'll just gave a recap of what happened.

Over here, i'm taking six classes, Geometry,French,Literature(English), TFS(geo history),Physics and Topics in Western Civilization. I love Geometry, English and Physics, French not so much. The other two are just okay...Western civ is basically European history, like Ancient Rome etc.

Here, besides CCA, EVERYONE must participate in one sport every season. For example, this autumn i'm in Cross Country, in which we have a 5km run practice everyday and a 5km race on Sat. In winter, I'm doing Basketball, and in spring, tennis. There are also squash, ice hockey, football, crew(or canoeing) etc.

Next Sat, which is Halloween, we are having a Hallowean dance, costume dance that is, and the best costume guy/girl gets a price...cool

We have a ton of homework though, I think i slept an average of 5 hours for this week...but that's good I guess...I mean the only way to paradise is through inferno right?

Oh, did i mention that all my classes here are all discussion-based? So we are constantly talking, no teacher like Yoga telling u to shut up just because u made a funny comment, the teachers here laught with u!! It's fun and friendly, makes u so comfortable and actually want to study!!! I wake up thinking:'Gosh I look forward to classes!' but back there, I wake up thinking :'shit!! Got school today!!'

I still miss u guys, especially my clique, oh are sam and hakeem still wrestling? haha

What's true Love?

After numerous personal experience and much thoughts, I've finally got the answer, what is love?

As we've seen in many many movies, couples show their mates love by several ways, these include holding hands, hugging, kissing and of course, the sensitive thingy. However, is that really love? If someone is only going after a girl or boy because they want to touch, hug, kiss or sleep with him/ her, is that love at all, or just the superficial, mask of love, with no degree of true love in it at all, that's list, whcih often is mistaken as love by most people.

So what is true love? The deepest and most genuine love, is selfless sacrifice. It is that no matter who your love chooses, even if that's your mortal enemy, as long as she's happy, as long as she feels good, as long as she's cared for, one should not cut in, instead, one should let things go how they should. This is not yet the complete true love. What's most important is that one stays faithful to one's love even if that's the case. Also, one should be sincerely and really happy that one's love is happy with whoever he/she's dating.

Most importantly, never be jealous of that person. Think it this way, he/she is the person who's making the one you love happy, that person is making ur love's life joyful. Instead, you should be friends with that person, and be really grateful that he/she is making ur love happy. If ur love likes him/her, he/she must have some really attractive values, you should try to learn that and appreciate that, not being jealous and being miserable, sobbing away, wasting life just because he/she's not in love with you.

So, in summary, true love is the selfless sacrifice, and also the hope that ur love will be happy no matter what. I think this is really important, so my friends will not have so much trouble when their sweetheart is with someone else. Remember, understanding, blessing and sacrifice. (LOVE YOU GUYS)

Hey guys? What's up?

I just went to the class blog, it's like so freakin' dead!! Honestly why isn't there anyone bothering to make it more interesting? At least it used to be very interesting...

Well anyway, school this week was so much fun!! Although we get hours of homework every day, I've already got a bunch of great buddies, besides the wrestling club...

We had this dance yesterday, the Neon Dance, it was kind of like Disco, and I was the only one who was wearing a suit at the dance!!! What happened was I had a five-hour super-creepy-cum-traditional lunch with my parents, and I didn't have anytime changing... But it was so fun!! All of us danced our heads off, extrodinary, I hope you guys are with me here in the US, US high school is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me.

There's also this guy, Brian. We are great friends and we had a lot of fun calling each other 'comrades' in Russian accents and snapping military salutes at each other, cos we were reading this book about China's Cultural Revolution, so we just had fun playing communist with each other...

Well, I really do still miss you guys, hope all is well, best wishes for streaming... :)

11/09/09 (US time)

Hey guys, long time no post. I was stuck in BJ so I couldn't post anything, but now I'm back in the US so I'm posting again.

Ok, my school has officially started and I'm a boarder. Being a boarding student is like so cool, I'mean there's a TV for the students in the dorm and we can even call for pizza deliveries and stuff. And Zeyang would definitely love here cos we are like having buffet for every meal and the meals are fantastic!!

The greatest things here is probably the girls!! Oh my God, if Jay and Hetao come here they would be unable to think of anything but girls!! And these girls are so friendly too. I mean they don't mind touching your hand, sitting next to you or talk to you like a friend even if you are a complete stranger!! The girls here spend more time with guys than they do with girls, Man!! But I haven't changed hearts yet, I'm still hopeful about 'You-Know-Who'.

I joined cross-country for CCA and even for a runner like me the training here kills! On the first training the coach made us run like 4 miles. After that we had to do 4 groups of sprinting. After the sprinting you are about done, and he made us do like 70 sit-ups and all kinds of damn tiring exercises. God it's tiring.

Anyways, I really enjoy school time here, it's totally fantastic. Still miss your guys, especially my buddies, hope to see ya soon!!

US time 25/07/2009

Hey guys!! This week is much more interesting, comparing to the past few extremely boring weeks…

Ok, on Wednesday, Brian and I won the tag team tittles. What happened was that our opponent, Edward was distracted by my team mate, he was looking away and when he turned back to me, I hit him with the codebreaker while Brian hit him with a swanton bomb. I was the one who actually pinned Edward and won. Besides that, sorry zeyang I didn't see your tag until today, but I will take video next k?

Well the week was pretty much the old boring one until yesterday. In the middle of the night, the fire alarm suddenly ran out and everyone in our hotel came running out, some of them wearing their pajamas some wearing boxers. And the fire engines came rushing in. We waited in suspense for a long time but in the end it was just a false alarm. (Video)

And today, we went to see G-force 3D, under the demand of my father. I wanted to watch ‘Bruno’, a story of an Austrian gay model who did a lot of ridiculous and damned funny things. But in the end, we watched G-force, which is not very bad, just ok, it’s quite erm…entertaining. I recommend you to watch Bruno, I’m not sure what’s the rating in Singapore, here it’s rated R, which means if you’re under 17, you have to be accompanied by adults. See that if you could, it’s nice…

Next week Brian and I defend our tittles against DX, and I’m having a singles match against Josh, from Four Horseman…I will take a video if that’s ok…
